Airtabs™ are now in use around the world and have withstood scrutiny in many different markets and applications. Airtabs™ are aerodynamic vortex generators and not simple air deflectors. Their distinctive twin wishbone ridges "trip" onset airflow into powerful (3000RPM+) long lasting counter rotating vortices.

Airtabs™ are not about boundary layer modification, attached flow issues, flow separation prevention or lift generation. Airtabs™ work by altering the near wake free stream airflow at any vehicle trailing edges. The benefits stem from the airflow behavior in the wake area after it has separated.

Airtabs™ multi-vortex array enhances safety margins through increased vehicle stability in high winds and gusts and reduces both base pressure drag coefficients and fuel consumption. Safety is also enhanced by improving driver mirror visibility in rain, snow or dust.

Airtabs™ were designed with safety and performance in mind. Hollow construction allows them to crush if run over. Their smooth "user friendly" curves make Airtabs™ safe and easy to handle. They will not cut, snag clothing or fingers, catch ropes or straps, snow, insects, branches or vegetation. They install using integral double sided "Peel & Stick" tape…no messing with separate tape pieces or templates, no glue, no drilling and no penetrating bolts , rivets, brackets or screws.
